Thracian Kings Tour

Day 1. Arrival to Sofia
Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation. Overnight at Sofia Dedeman Princess Hotel, 4****.
Day 2. Sofia
After breakfast we will make a city tour of Sofia with a visit to the National Museum of History: Thracian treasures. Lunch, free time for shopping and overnight in Sofia at Sofia Dedeman Princess Hotel, 4****.
Day 3. Sofia – Starosel – Plovdiv
After breakfast we will start our journey to Starosel- ancient Thracian cult center. We will continue to Plovdiv, the second biggest city of Bulgaria. We will have lunch in the Old Plovdiv. Accommodation and overnight in Plovdiv at Dedeman Trimontium Hotel, 4****.
Day 4. Plovdiv – Perperikon – Haskovo
After breakfast departure to the town of Kurdzhali and visit of Perperikon, the sacred Thracian city, sanctuary of Dionysus. Lunch and overnight in Haskovo at Park Hotel Evropa\, 4****.
Day 5. Haskovo – Kazanlak
After breakfast we will leave for the town of Kazanlak. We will have lunch on the Koprinka Lake at the bottom of which was situated the old Thracian town of Sevtopolis, the capital of the Thracian kingdom of the tribe of Odri. Visit to the ancient Thracian Tomb (included in the UNESCO’s list of the World Heritage). Overnight in Kazanlak at Palace Hotel, 3***.
Day 6. Kazanlak – Shipka – Etara - Veliko Tarnovo
After breakfast departure for the town of Veliko Turnovo, the former Bulgarian capital. On our way we will visit the village of Shipka, where we’ll visit the Russian church, built here to commemorate the Russian soldiers and officers, who died in the Russian – Turkish. Then we will visit the monument of Shipka and will have the opportunity to taste typical Bulgarian yoghurt. We will visit an open-air Ethnographical Museum Etara, where we’ll have lunch. Overnight in Veliko Turnovo at Yantra Hotel, 4****.
Day 7. Veliko Tarnovo – Arnbanassi – Sveshtari – Ivanovo - Ruse
After breakfast we will visit the town of Veliko Turnovo and the village of Arbanassi, where we’ll have lunch. After lunch we will continue our way to the city of Rousse. On the way we will visit the Rocky churches of Ivanovo also included in the UNESCO’s World Heritage. Visit of the Thracian Tomb in the village of Sveshtari. In the afternoon we will arrive in the city of Rousse, where we will stay at Riga Hotel, 4****.
Day 8. Ruse – Sofia
After breakfast we will make a panoramic tour of Rousse where we’ll have lunch. In the afternoon departure for Sofia with overnight at Sofia Dedeman Princess Hotel, 4****.
Day 9. Departure
Breakfast and transfer to the Airport.
