10 Days/ 9 Nights
Day 1
Arrival and transfer to the hotel in Sofia. Accommodation.
Day 2
After the breakfast departure for Rila Monastery which is included in UNESCO’s list of World Heritage. We will have lunch in a nearby restaurant. Afterwards we will continue our way to Plovdiv the second biggest city in Bulgaria. We will have dinner and overnight in it.
Day 3
After the breakfast we will make a panoramic city tour that includes visit to the Old Plovdiv: the typical houses and the Roman Amphitheatre. We will have lunch there. After the lunch we depart to the city of Bourgas, situated on the south part of the Black Sea coast and an important industrial centre and port. Night over in Bourgas.
Day 4
After breakfast we will start to the village of Nessebar, situated on a small peninsula included in the UNESCO’s World Heritage list. In the afternoon we will continue to Varna where we’ll spend the night.
Day 5
After breakfast, city tour of Varna and then we pay a visit to the town of Balchik, where we‘ll have an opportunity to see the botanical garden and the Palace of the Rumanian Queen.
Day 6
After breakfast departure towards Veliko Turnovo, the capital of the second Bulgarian Kingdom. On our way we’ll visit the MADARA HORSEMAN, a huge bass- relief carved in to the rocks, included in the UNESCO’s World Heritage list. At the afternoon we will arrive at the city of Veliko Turnovo where will stop for a night.
Day 7
After breakfast we’ll make a panoramic tour of the city and Arbanassi a small village famous with valuable medieval frescoes of the Nativity Church. In the afternoon free time and overnight in Veliko Turnovo.
Day 8
After breakfast, we will continue our way to the Open- Air Ethnographical Museum of Etara that represents the typical Bulgarian crafts. Afterwards we will cross the Balkan Mountains and visit the small town of Koprivshtitsa, picturesque Museum- Town with its painted Houses and cobbled narrow streets. Then we’ll get back to Sofia where we’ll have a night over.
Day 9
After breakfast we’ll make a sightseeing tour of the city. Free time in the afternoon. Overnight in the Bulgarian capital.
Day 10
After breakfast departure to the Sofia Airport.
